SEN Review and Development
SEN consultants review your school documentation including IEPs, special needs register, policy statements and student level progress data, then spend a day in school observing lessons and interviewing staff. The exact focus of the review is determined by each school, but our review recommendations centre on how to accelerate progress of students with special educational needs and most frequently focus on:
- deployment of SEN resources and organisation of SEN team
- coordinating SEN and EAL provision
- IEPs, lesson plans and schemes of work
- whole-school literacy strategy
- behaviour management approaches.
